In an uncertain economic environment, managers need to be aware of the power and importance of key stakeholders – shareholders, bankers, customers, and suppliers. Managers need to efficiently allocate resources, whilst recognizing environmental and ethical concerns, controlling risks, and effectively communicating strategy and performance.
